In 2009, Impact 100 Richmond founder, Talley Baratka, was in search of a way to make a profound difference in the community. She knew she could not do it alone. Talley recognized the power of women giving together so she brought together a group of women from all walks of life - and Impact 100 Richmond was born. The connections and business acumen of our founders, along with our partnership with the Community Foundation for a greater Richmond, set the stage to bring Talley’s idea to life.Today, Impact 100 Richmond still operates on the same principles that Talley and her co-founders put in place. Since 2009, Impact 100 Richmond has invested $1,000,000 in the Richmond Community by giving ten $100,000 grants to ten nonprofits.
