In 2009, Impact 100 Richmond founder, Talley Baratka, was in search of a way to make a profound difference in the community. She knew she could not do it alone. Talley recognized the power of women giving together so she brought together a group of women from all walks of life - and Impact 100 Richmond was born. The connections and business acumen of our founders, along with our partnership with The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia, set the stage to bring Talley’s idea to life.Today, Impact 100 Richmond still operates on the same principles that Talley and her co-founders put in place. Since 2009, Impact 100 Richmond has invested $1,000,000 in the Richmond Community by giving ten $100,000 grants to ten nonprofits.
