Grants

Since 2009 Impact 100 Richmond has awarded more than $2 million to 37 local nonprofits, targeting high-impact projects aimed at transforming our local community. 

We fund nonprofit projects that:

• Foster change and have a long-term positive impact
• May be programmatic and/or capital (i.e. buildings) in nature
• Are new programs or expansions/improvements of existing programs that can change the way an organization or a community operates
• Can demonstrate specific measurable goals

The transformational grants are given in these five focus areas:

Arts & Culture ~ Education ~ Environment & Sustainability ~ Family ~ Health & Wellness

In addition to our primary grant of $100,000 to a local nonprofit, Impact 100 has also donated funds directly to a specific Richmond neighborhood through the Neighborhood Catalyst Grant, introduced in 2018. This grant awarded $25,000 a year over four years to the Greater Fulton Community. Click below to read more about the success of this unique philanthropic effort. 

Information sessions regarding our 2025 grantmaking process are taking place TMay 14 from 12-1 PM and  May 23 from 10-11 AM. Both sessions are virtual, and registrations will be open in April.
